Community Defense & Protection

Community Defender – Be willing and prepared to show up to protests, demonstrations, and community events armed, within the limits of Vermont law, to deter threats and ensure the safety of marginalized communities.

De-Escalation Specialist – Trained to calm tensiaons and prevent situations from escalating while maintaining readiness to act if necessary.

Legal Observer – Attend events and protests to document law enforcement behavior, record misconduct, and provide legal defense evidence if needed.

Case Researcher – Assist in reviewing laws, tracking relevant legislation, and compiling legal defense resources for members and allies.

Know-Your-Rights Educator – Help teach members about Vermont laws, self-defense rights, and protest safety.

Cybersecurity, OPSEC, & Counter-Surveillance

OSINT Specialist – Monitor fascist, law enforcement, and far-right activity, tracking threats and reporting on developing dangers.

Tech Security Advisor – Assist in securing digital communications, setting up encrypted tools, and protecting against surveillance threats.

Radio Operator – Set up and maintain secure communications for protests and actions. Requires knowledge of ham radios, walkie-talkies, and encrypted channels.
